As a low pressure system moves into the region, rain and strong winds are expected to begin Friday and continue through Saturday.
The rain and strong winds will be contained to Southwestern Ontario and the GTA for Friday before affecting Eastern Ontario during the day on Saturday. Some non-severe thunderstorms will be possible, meaning some areas may pick up some locally heavier rainfall amounts.
The heaviest rainfall for this event is expected through Southwestern Ontario and the GTA. As stated, the rain will move into the region on Friday and continue through the day before pushing into Eastern Ontario for Saturday.
The strongest wind gusts are expected through Southwestern Ontario and the GTA as well through the day on Friday, with wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h expected. Eastern Ontario will see the stronger wind gusts through the day on Saturday, with wind gusts of 60 to 70 km/h expected.
