As a system passes to the south of the region, rainy and windy conditions will begin developing Thursday. The heaviest rainfall will be contained to Eastern Ontario. Areas further west will see lower rainfall totals.

Rain, heavy at times, will begin moving into the Niagara region in the morning hours, increasing in coverage throughout the day. There may be breaks in the rain, especially Thursday evening and overnight into Friday. The rain will end from west to east beginning early Friday morning, finally wrapping up in Eastern Ontario late Friday evening.
