  • Goderich - Bluewater - Southern Huron County

  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County

  • Watford - Pinery Park - Eastern Lambton County

  • Wingham - Blyth - Northern Huron County

AT 4:12 P.M. EDT, ENVIRONMENT CANADA METEOROLOGISTS ARE TRACKING A

LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY STRONG WIND

GUSTS AND UP TO NICKEL SIZE HAIL.


THIS LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS LOCATED FROM 30 KILOMETRES

NORTHWEST OF MACGREGOR POINT PROVINCIAL PARK TO 9 KILOMETRES

NORTHEAST OF POINT EDWARD, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 85 KM/H.


HAZARD: 100 KM/H WIND GUSTS AND NICKEL SIZE HAIL. A TORNADO IS ALSO

POSSIBLE.


LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE:

GODERICH, KINCARDINE, GRAND BEND, PORT ELGIN, LAMBTON SHORES, THE

PINERY PROVINCIAL PARK, POINT CLARK, POINT FARMS PROVINCIAL PARK,

PORT ALBERT, INVERHURON PROVINCIAL PARK, LUCKNOW, MACGREGOR POINT

PROVINCIAL PARK, SOUTHAMPTON, SAUBLE BEACH, SAUBLE FALLS PROVINCIAL

PARK, KETTLE POINT, IPPERWASH BEACH, PORT FRANKS, BLUE WATER BEACH

AND AMBERLEY.


LARGE HAIL CAN DAMAGE PROPERTY AND CAUSE INJURY. STRONG WIND GUSTS

CAN TOSS LOOSE OBJECTS, DAMAGE WEAK BUILDINGS, BREAK BRANCHES OFF

TREES AND OVERTURN LARGE VEHICLES. REMEMBER, SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS

CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES. LIGHTNING KILLS AND INJURES CANADIANS EVERY
