There will be the threat for severe weather beginning Sunday afternoon. Severe thunderstorms are expected to move into the area from Michigan. The risk for this event is rather low compared to most events, however, areas in the Elevated category should stay weather aware.

Details:
Isolated strong wind gusts associated with thunderstorms expected later today. Isolated thunderstorms are forecast to move across the area late this afternoon through early this evening. While the thunderstorms are not expected to be particularly strong, isolated wind gusts up to 70 or 80 km/h will be possible. Local power outages may occur as well as some damage to tree branches.
