Severe weather is likely across the region this afternoon and evening.
The greatest area for severe weather will be in the High/Red area, along the shores of Lake Huron and in Southwestern Ontario. These areas include Windsor, Sarnia, London, Goderich and Kincardine. In these areas, threats will include heavy rain, small hail, strong wind gusts and a few tornadoes are possible.
The Moderate/Orange area includes areas such as Port Elgin, Brantford, Barrie, Orangeville, Kitchener, Bracebridge and Parry Sound. In these areas, threats will include heavy rain, small hail, strong wind gusts and an isolated tornado is possible.
The Elevated/Yellow area includes areas such Simcoe, Hamilton, Toronto and Peterborough. In these areas, threats will include heavy rain, small hail and strong wind gusts.
The Low/Green area includes St. Catharines, Belleville, Bancroft and Barry's Bay. In these areas, threats will include heavy rain and strong wind gusts.
The Very Low/Light Green area includes Kingston, Cornwall, Ottawa and Renfrew. In these areas, the threat will be heavy rain.
