As temperatures tumble through the day tomorrow, snow squalls will return to the forecast as they develop during the afternoon hours and will continue through Thursday afternoon.

Much of the region is expected to see less than 5 centimetres of snow, as rain and snow showers move through the region. Some heavier bursts of snow may occur in any area. Slippery road conditions are expected across Southern Ontario.

The highest snowfall amounts are expected for areas off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. A portion of Lambton County, including Grand Bend, is likely to see the highest snowfall amounts. Up to 50 centimetres will be possible.

Wind gusts up to 60 km/h are likely, especially by Wednesday evening. Blowing and drifting snow will cause road conditions to become poor very quickly. Road closures will be possible.

Snow Squall Watches (Yellow Level) are in effect from Environment Canada.
