UPDATE: Extreme Heat Slightly Eases Tuesday

The extreme heat will begin to ease for Tuesday, with Midwestern, Central and Eastern Ontario seeing Humidex values of 30 to 35ºC. Southwestern Ontario, the Golden Horseshoe, the GTA, and portions of Central and Eastern Ontario will see Humidex values of 35 to 40ºC. Deep Southwestern Ontario, including Windsor and Chatham, will continue to see Humidex values of 40 to 45ºC, however the expected forecast remains on the lower end of this range.
A cooler and less humid airmass will move into the region on Wednesday.
Heat Warnings remain in effect for much of the region from Environment Canada.
