Warmer Temperatures Expected to Begin June

Although May has been below average in terms of temperatures, including some areas even seeing frost, model data indicates that June will be begin with temperatures above average.


The European model shows widespread temperatures into the mid 20s by Tuesday June 3rd, with some areas approaching 30ºC.


The model also shows the same for Wednesday June 4th, with many areas in the high 20s and near 30ºC.


The Climate Prediction Center in College Park, Maryland has also highlighted that they expect Above average temperatures for the Northeastern United States, which includes Southern Ontario.
