A line of thunderstorms pushed through Southwestern Ontario on Monday evening. Damaging wind gusts were the greatest threat with the line of thunderstorms, which certainly did not disappoint as it moved into the region.
Environment Canada issued the following statement on Tuesday morning:
"Strong thunderstorms swept across portions of southern and
northeastern Ontario on Monday. We have received reports of utility
outages and tree and property damage as a result of strong wind
gusts from these thunderstorms, particularly across portions of
extreme southwestern Ontario where a line of strong thunderstorms
moved through during the evening.
