A system will move through the region for Wednesday, bringing another windy day, along with some rain. However, the rain will not be as heavy as last week.

Winds will begin to increase in speed during the morning hours of Wednesday, from west to east. The highest wind gusts are expected within Midwestern Ontario, the GTA, and areas along Lake Ontario. In addition to the rain, some thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow, possibly bringing wind gusts up to 90 km/h.
The strong wind gusts may cause power outages, cause tree branches to snap and fall, and may cause hydro lines to fall.

Rain will begin moving into Central and Eastern Ontario during the morning hours on Wednesday, continuing throughout the day. In Central Ontario, there may even be a transition to some snow over higher terrain if temperatures remain cold enough.
Much of Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario will see little to no rain from this event, as much of the rain will fall in areas north and east.
