Daily Forecast: February 28, 2024



Thunderstorms will continue across the region tonight before tapering off to showers tomorrow morning. Many areas will see flurries in the afternoon, depicted by their icons. Eastern Ontario will see rain for most of the day before the cold front passes through.


A rapid drop in temperature is expected tomorrow. Flash Freeze Warnings and Special Weather Statements have been issued by Environment Canada. Roadways and sidewalks are expected to become icy very quickly due to the rapid drop in temperature.


Wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are expected tomorrow as well. Ensure any loose objects outside are either secured or brought inside.


Snow squalls will develop off Lake Huron tomorrow afternoon. Strong wind gusts may create blowing snow and whiteout conditions. Drive with caution.


Fog is expected to develop tonight. Slow down and drive with caution in areas of poor visibility. Ensure your full light system is turned on.
