Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board

Due to expected lake effect snow squalls resulting in heavy and blowing snow, transportation is cancelled in the Centre Hastings, Belleville & Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Central Lennox & Addington, South Lennox & Addington, South Frontenac and Kingston area weather zones today.

Avon Maitland District School Board

All buses are cancelled.

Bluewater District School Board

Due to an orange level warning forecasting blizzard conditions for the region later today, and an abundance of caution for the safety of students and staff, ALL Bluewater District School Board schools (elementary and secondary) and work sites are CLOSED today, Monday, January 19, 2026. Child care as well as before and after school programs are also cancelled.

Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board

All buses are cancelled. All schools and office buildings are closed.

District School Board of Niagara

Due to inclement weather, student transportation is cancelled today for all schools in south Niagara (Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet). Other bus and taxi routes in the Lake Erie area as well as throughout Niagara are also affected based on routing through the storm area. There will be no late activity bus service for Niagara Falls, Welland, Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet this evening.

All Secondary School late activity buses across Niagara are cancelled for this afternoon.

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board

All School taxis and buses are cancelled in Zone 2 (Centre Wellington), Zone 3 (North Wellington), and Zone 4 (Dufferin - Including RF Hall) today.

Halton District School Board

Please be advised that we are expecting an increase in school bus delays this afternoon in parts of the region due to snowfall and high winds impacting visibility.

All buses are cancelled.

Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board

Please be advised that, due to the forecasted inclement weather and poor road conditions transportation is cancelled in Northumberland County today, schools remain open. Transportation is operating in Peterborough City and County and the Municipality of Clarington.

All buses in the North Zone are cancelled.

Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board

All buses in the North Zone are cancelled.

Upper Grand District School Board

All School taxis and buses are cancelled in Zone 2 (Centre Wellington), Zone 3 (North Wellington), and Zone 4 (Dufferin - Including RF Hall) today.

Due to inclement weather, UGDSB schools and offices in Division 3 (North Wellington) are closed today to staff and students.

Wellington Catholic District School Board

All School taxis and buses are cancelled in Zone 2 (Centre Wellington), Zone 3 (North Wellington), and Zone 4 (Dufferin - Including RF Hall) today.
