Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board

All buses are cancelled. All schools and sites are CLOSED today due to inclement weather.

Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board

Due to the significant weather event and ongoing snow removal efforts, ALL transportation is cancelled and ALL schools and buildings in ALL ZONES (1,2,3,4) are closed to students and staff on Monday, January 26. All Community Use of School rentals, before and after-school child care programs, after school activities and night school classes are CANCELLED.

Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario

All school bus transportation has been cancelled for today, Monday, January 26, due to current road conditions. All schools remain open.

District School Board of Niagara

Due to significant snowfall across all areas of Niagara with high winds and additional snowfall forecast to continue through the night into tomorrow's school day, for all municipalities in Niagara, all schools and offices are closed Monday, January 26, 2026. Forecasted blowing and falling snow, as well as very cold temperatures and wind chill values will create conditions making it difficult for buses to operate safely and will pose challenges for students walking to school.

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board

All schools and offices/facilities are closed to students and staff on Monday, January 26 due to winter weather conditions.

Durham District School Board

All schools and work sites will be closed to students and staff Monday, January 26, 2026. This system-wide decision has been made due to the winter storm, significant snowfall forecasted to continue through the evening, and the anticipated storm aftermath, including snow clearing across communities. All school-based childcare programs, including before- and after-school care, will be cancelled.

Durham Catholic District School Board

All schools, offices and buildings are closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions. Bus transportation, the Catholic Education Centre, community use permits, and before and after school programs located in schools are also cancelled.

Grand Erie District School Board

Due to significant snowfall across the region, all schools, administrative buildings and childcare facilities are CLOSED for January 26 in ALL ZONES.

Greater Essex County District School Board

Student transportation is cancelled for the day in the city and county today due to inclement weather, however schools are open.

Halton District School Board

All schools and workplaces are closed and transportation is cancelled for all students due to inclement weather and anticipated challenging road conditions.

Halton Catholic District School Board

Due to the current inclement weather and anticipated challenging road conditions, all schools and Board offices will be CLOSED to students and staff for Monday, January 26.

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board

All schools, administrative buildings and workplaces—including the Education Centre—are CLOSED Monday, January 26, 2026. Snowfall continues to impact road conditions and snow removal, resulting in transportation being cancelled. As a result, all learning (in-person and remote), and childcare are cancelled.

Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board

Due to inclement weather, all schools, adult education centres, school-based childcare centres, administrative buildings and Community Use of Schools will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026, and student transportation cancelled.

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board

All Belleville, Quinte West, PEC schools closed today, January 26, 2026. All schools in the above-noted areas will be closed to students and staff today due to the high snow accumulation and poor driving conditions. Students and staff should not go to school.

Lambton Kent District School Board

Buses in Zones 7 and 8 are cancelled due to conditions.

Buses in all other zones are running as normal.

Limestone District School Board

All buses are cancelled. The following schools are OPEN: North Addington Education Centre, Granite Ridge Education Centre, Land O’Lakes Public School, Clarendon Central. All other schools are CLOSED.

Niagara Catholic District School Board

All buses are cancelled and schools are closed on January 26 due to inclement weather. All on-site childcare centres are also closed and Community Use permits are cancelled.

Peel District School Board

PDSB Schools and Worksites will be closed, and all buses are cancelled Monday, January 26 due to inclement weather. Closure of the schools includes cancellations of all activities located in the schools, including childcare, night school and permits.

Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic School Board

As a result of the winter storm and snowfall forecasted to continue this evening and throughout the night, and the associated response and snow clearing in communities, all PVNC Catholic schools, buildings, and worksites, including the Catholic Education Centre, will be CLOSED Monday, January 26, 2026 to students and staff.

Renfrew County District School Board

Currently for Monday January 26, 2026 all English speaking Catholic & Public transportation service in Renfrew County is Cancelled due to observed Poor Road Conditions. All schools are OPEN!

Renfrew County Catholic District School Board

Currently for Monday January 26, 2026 all English speaking Catholic & Public transportation service in Renfrew County is Cancelled due to observed Poor Road Conditions. All schools are OPEN!

St. Clair Catholic District School Board

Buses in Zones 7 and 8 are cancelled due to conditions.

Buses in all other zones are running as normal.

Thames Valley District School Board

School purpose vehicles are CANCELLED for the day in Oxford County due to winter road conditions.

Bus routes in the City of London, Elgin & Middlesex Counties will start on schedule.

Toronto District School Board

All schools, sites and administrative buildings will be closed to students and most staff on Monday, January 26, due to ongoing snow removal and a Major Snow Storm Condition and Significant Weather Event declared by the City of Toronto. All Child Care centres and before and after school programs will also be closed.

Toronto Catholic District School Board

All schools and Board sites will be closed Monday, January 26. Bus transportation, childcare centres, before-and after-school programs, and permits are also cancelled.

Trillium Lakelands District School Board

Due to inclement weather with poor road conditions, transportation to schools is not operating in Zones 4 and 5 today, Monday, January 26. Schools remain open and learning opportunities will continue for students who are able to safely attend in person.

Upper Canada District School Board

All school transportation is cancelled today, January 26, 2026, due to poor weather conditions. All scheduled trips and sports are also cancelled.  Schools remain open.

Upper Grand District School Board

Due to inclement weather, all schools and offices are closed on Monday January 26 to staff and students. All buses and taxis are cancelled.

Waterloo Catholic District School Board

Due to the current weather conditions, ALL SCHOOLS AND SITES ARE CLOSED Monday, January 26, 2026. ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES are cancelled. All before and after school programs and child care centres co-located in schools are CLOSED. All programs and services offered by St. Louis Continuing Education and Adult and Learning Centres are cancelled. All Community Use Programs will not operate.

Waterloo Region District School Board

All school buses, taxis and special education routes will be cancelled and all schools will be closed. Student, staff, parent, family and caregiver safety continues to be our priority. Our decisions are guided by current and predicted weather conditions, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of WRDSB Students, Staff and Community. Extended Day Programs, Child Care Centres located in our schools, and our Education Centre will be closed.

Wellington Catholic District School Board

All student transportation services are cancelled in all zones for Monday, January 26, 2026. All schools and administrative buildings will be closed to students and most staff on Monday, January 26, 2026 due to the Significant Weather Event and ongoing snow removal efforts.

Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board

All school buses in both the county and the city are cancelled for the day. Schools remain open.

York Catholic District School Board

Due to inclement weather conditions, all YCDSB schools are closed for Monday, January 26, 2026. Do not attend your school or workplace.

York Region District School Board

Due to emergency weather conditions, transportation services are cancelled and all schools and board locations are closed to students, January 26, 2026.
