Hot and Humid Temperatures begin in Windsor-Essex

Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning for Windsor - Leamington - Essex County, stating that a heat event will begin Saturday and continue until Tuesday.

They explain that daytime high temperatures are expected to be between 31 and 33°C, with humidex values near 40°C. Nighttime low temperatures are expected to be near 22°C, meaning there will be little relief from the heat.

Ensure you limit your time outdoors and stay hydrated. Never leave anyone, including children or pets in a parked vehicle. This is extremely dangerous and can be fatal.
